Data We Do Not Collect by Default

If you use EZCV without signing in, your draft content stays in your browser. We do not sell personal data, and we never receive full payment card numbers because payments are processed by Stripe.

How Your Data Is Stored

EZCV stores working CV data locally in your browser for fast editing. If you sign in and use sync features, we store account data, subscription status, synced drafts, and share-link metadata on our backend infrastructure to provide cross-device access and account recovery.

You can delete synced drafts and account data from within the app, and local browser data can be removed by clearing your browser storage. For security and abuse prevention, we may keep limited technical logs such as request metadata and error diagnostics.

Cookies & Analytics

We use essential browser storage and cookies for authentication state, locale preferences, and core product behavior. We do not use advertising cookies for cross-site profiling.

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate product usage and improve reliability and UX. Analytics data is not used to read your CV content. See Google's Privacy Policy.

GDPR and Your Rights

If you are in the EEA/UK, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. We process data primarily to deliver the service, secure the platform, and meet legal obligations.
